How commissions work

Sometimes a place warrants special consideration. Whether commemorating a unforgettable day, or a lasting connection to a place, commissioned paintings allow clients to choose the scene that speaks directly to them.

Virginia works directly with clients to create custom paintings. Clients specify the subject matter, and Virginia creates several compositional sketches to choose from. When the final composition is selected, Virginia creates the artwork.

Commissioned paintings are priced by the square inch. Clients determine a size range that fits their space and budget, and Virginia creates compositions working within those parameters.
